The Office of the County Auditor reviews all reports received and investigates or refers to appropriate agencies all credible allegations of fraud, waste, or abuse regarding County resources (funds, property, one’s position, etc.).

    • What happened (the nature of the allegation)?
    • Where did the incident(s) occur?
    • When did the incident(s) occur?
    • How long/often did the incident(s) occur? Is the activity still occurring?
    • How did the incident(s) occur?
    • How do you know of the incident(s)? Do you have first-hand knowledge of the incident(s)? Did you witness the incident(s)?
    • Who else has knowledge of the incident(s) (name, job title, department/office/agency where the person[s] works)?
    • Is there documentation to support the incident?
    • Have you contacted anyone else about this issue? (A detailed response could allow us to avoid duplication of efforts.)

  • You may remain anonymous; however, providing contact information will allow us to follow up if we have any questions or need additional information to evaluate your allegation(s).
